In 2022, ‘t Hanenhuus was completely rebuilt. ‘t Hanenhuus has been given a beautiful restaurant with terrace, with a wonderful view of the dune course. Come and enjoy the Texel hospitality during a lunch on the terrace or toast a successful round of golf with a Texel Juttertje. In addition to the restaurant, ‘t Hanenhuus houses the reception desk, changing rooms with showers and the golf shop.
Even if you do not play golf, you are welcome in ‘t Hanenhuus. For example, as a break from your walking or cycling tour through the beautiful surroundings of the golf course.

The golf shop of De Texelse offers a huge range of golf clubs, balls, clothing, shoes and various accessories, topped with excellent service. You can visit the shop when the golf course is open.
Buggy and trolley hire are also available from the golf shop.
The name of the clubhouse shares its origins with that of nearby nature reserve Hanenplas. Both names are derived from the Dutch word haan or heen, an old name for sea club-rush. This type of grass can be found in wet nutrient-rich soil at waterfronts, in ditches and in salt marshes.
